Camp Location

The internment camp "Darmo-wijk" was established within a residential district in the extreme south of

Soera­­baja, adjacent to the European cemetery, Kembang Koening. Entrance to the camp was on the east side,

near Coen Boulevard. The camp was closed off from the outside world on March 13, 1943 (maybe even earlier?).
